May files for divorce, seeks N100m in damages from Yul Edochie and second wife, Judy, and court order to prevent Yul from entering their former matrimonial home.
Businesswoman May Yul-Edochie has initiated divorce proceedings from her husband, actor Yul Edochie, with whom she has three children. Femi Falana and Eculaw group are representing May in this legal action. She is also seeking N100 million in damages from Yul and his second wife, Judy, alleging adultery.
The DPA Family Law Clinic provided an update on the couple’s marital crisis, revealing that Judy and Yul have been notified of the lawsuit, having received the relevant documents by email. The court bailiff reportedly faced difficulty in serving them due to their avoidance of the process.
May has additionally sought a court order to prevent Yul from entering their former matrimonial home. Expressing concerns about safety, she claimed that Yul’s behavior has become erratic, irrational, aggressive, and increasingly threatening. She noted a sense that Yul might be influenced by something, though the exact nature of that influence remains unclear.
May recounted an incident where Yul was denied access to their home by security officials who cited that ongoing legal matters surrounding their marriage prevented his entry. She emphasized that her actions are aimed at safeguarding herself and her children.
that is total nonsense you are doing and you are not gonna gain anything from it other than regrets…….
