Sen Opeyemi Bamidele emerges Majority Leader, Umahi Deputy

Bamidele Opeyemi, the Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, and David Umahi, the senator representing Ebonyi South, as the deputy majority leader have been chosen as the Majority Leader of the 10th Senate.

Ali Ndume, the Senator representing Borno South Senatorial District, has been announced as the Chief Whip. The senators were selected on Tuesday during a private meeting chaired by Senate President Godswill Akpabío. Their selection was based on the recommendation of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
