Peter Obi will go to court for 8 years – Comedian Akpororo

Akpororo, a popular comedian whose real name is Bowoto Tanimola, has playfully mocked Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, who is currently involved in a legal battle over the 2023 presidential election.

During a recent comedy performance, Akpororo engaged his audience by asking if Peter Obi was still going to court. The crowd responded affirmatively.

“He go still dey go court for eight years”, Akpororo added.

However, his joke received criticism from many, particularly supporters of Peter Obi, who expressed their disapproval on social media after the video went viral on Tuesday.

Peter Obi and the Labour Party have filed suits challenging the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, who was declared the winner of the February 25th presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
