I once contemplated becoming a pastor – Tonto Dike

Nollywood Actress turned politician, Tonto Dike recently shared a significant aspect of her upbringing. She revealed that during her formative years, she contemplated pursuing a career as a clergywoman.

Dikeh explained that she had a strong connection to the church while growing up. She actively participated as a cell leader and worked in various roles within the church community. In a post on her Instagram page, she expressed her sentiments.

The actress emphasized that despite her current endeavors, she continues to hold deep-rooted values of decency. She admitted feeling uneasy when it comes to wearing revealing outfits, reflecting her upbringing and conservative mindset.

In her Instagram post, Tonto Dikeh wrote, “I was raised in the church… I served as a cell leader. I held the position of Department Assistant. I even contemplated becoming a pastor. To this day, I still retain a significant portion of my traditional mindset… I feel incredibly uncomfortable in revealing clothing…” [sic].
