Dubai-based Nigerian lady reveals how man who earns N200k told her to leave her N34m per annum job to marry him

On Twitter, a Nigerian woman residing in Dubai has shared a story about a man who, despite earning N200,000, proposed that she quit her N34 million per annum job for the sake of love.

In a series of tweets, the lady, identified as @RejiYates, revealed that this man, who was acquainted with her family, expressed his desire to speak with her parents regarding their potential marriage. However, she declined his proposition, citing their differing financial circumstances, with her earning significantly more than him. She stated that she explained this to him, but he advised her to resign from her job, asserting that it was inappropriate for women to earn more than their spouses.
