Gideon Okeke, an actor, has called on single mothers who prevent their children from having a relationship with their fathers to be more compassionate, stating that it is no longer just about them.

In a series of posts on his Instagram story, Gideon revealed that he discovered numerous men who were punished by their ex-partners by not allowing them to see their children, following his divorce from his former wife and mother of his two sons.

He questioned what therapy or guidance is offered to men in this position and challenged single mothers to consider that they did not merely obtain their children, but they were born into this world with their fathers. He urged them not to use their children as a weapon against their exes and to consider the consequences of their actions on the children, who are deprived of their father’s love and support.
