Senator Aishatu becomes Governorship flag bearer for the All Progressives Congress, APC in Adamawa state. Beats Ex-Governor Ribadu

Senator Aishatu Binani has emerged the Governorship candidate under the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC in Adamawa state.

The result was announced by the Chairman of the APC Adamawa State Electoral Committee, Gambo Lawal on Friday

According to the Presiding Officer for the poll, she scored 430 votes to defeat her closest contestant, a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, who got 288 votes.

Binani beat five other contenders, all men, to clinch the ticket.
