Veteran singer and activist Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy has led a protest against Jungle justice following the death of female Shehu Shagari College of Education student, Deborah Samuel who was beaten and burnt to death for alleged blasphemy.
He lamented that the country cannot continue to pretend about the incessant bloodshed happening all over the Nation.
The Singer said, ”We can’t pretend that our sensibilities have not been assaulted by so much bloodletting happening all over our country.
”If poverty, hopelessness, hunger and the indiscriminate killings of our sons and daughter can not unite us, what will?”
