APC N100m Presidential form, root of all problems – Shehu Sani

Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has reacted to the price of APC Presidential nomination form of N100 million.

The party on Wednesday announced that aspirants for governorship positions will pay N50 million, for senatorial positions, N20 million, while those for the House of Representatives would pay N10 million.

Reacting to this, Shehu Sani in a tweet queried the party’s reason for such large amounts. According to him, money is the root of all problems.

He wrote, ”When you ask politicians why the nomination form is so expensive, they will say it’s to “drive away unserious ones”. Their prerequisite for “serious leadership aspirations” is money, That is the root of all problems.”
