Presidency has run out of Ideas, It’s always looking for excuses – NEF
Spokesman for the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has expressed that he is convinced the presidency has run out of ideas and always looking for excuses.
He made this assertion in an interview with Channel Television on Friday in response to Garba Shehu, presidential spokesman, statement’s that opposition was exploiting the challenges experienced by the current administration.
Shehu attributed the recent calls for secession to ”charlatans” sponsored to threaten and bully the president into making the wrong decisions.
Reacting to this statement, Baba-Ahmed stated that the manner in which Shehu spoke has made him depressed and also think the presidency has run out of ideas adding that Nigerians want an end to the kidnappings, not excuses.
“Hearing him speak in this manner, I’m more depressed than I was when I came into this studio. This how the spokesperson of the president will respond, just telling people arrests are being made? We don’t see anybody being arrested.
“If they are arrested, why are they not being prosecuted? Yes, he’s right, banditry and kidnapping has become an industry,” he said.
thanks for saying the truth……..
You are not the only one that depressed about the Garba sheu statement, he will just be opening his mouth and be closing it
Instead of tackling the insecurity in the country, they busy attacking those that are telling them the truth
May Almighty God come to our rescue because those in charge of presidency are not sincere with Mr President
If the president can listen to the people and make amendment without listen to his aids, things will change for better
I was also wondering! I believe they ha e ran out of ideas on how to tackle insecurity in this country. Thank God the northern elders have woken up.it was this government that made kidnapping a lucrative business for this bandits. Imagine over four kidnap happened this year alone yet no arrest has been made. And someone came to TV 📺 to talk rubbish to Nigerians
