“Killings in the North has not stopped so why have you stopped?” – Aisha Yesufu asks protesters
Human rights activist and Co-convener of the Bring back our girls campaign BBOG, Aisha Yesufu has questioned protesters why they have decided to relent in their quest for justice.
In a tweet shared via her Twitter handle she wondered if they’ve been told that it is un-islamic to protest, questioning also if it is Islamic for people to be killed like animals and their leader does nothing.
She wrote;
“The killings in the North has not stopped so why have you stopped #SecureNorth #EndInsecurity? Have you been told it is not Islamic to protest ? Is it Islamic for people to be killed like goats and the Commander-in-chief does nothing?

Though, it is unislamic to stage a protest against the leaders of the land but those leaders have failed us woefully.
I don’t know y they stopped the protest pls they should continue

I don’t the reason that government doesn’t even bother about the killing of innocent souls day in day out. All the security agencies should stand up against this killings.
This killing is getting out of hand everyday and the silence by all these security agencies are not speaking well of them.
Its because the federal government has improve in the demand
We nigerian has a plan to know where they government will keep to their promise.
Accept whatever changes that life throws at you because the day will come when there are no changes.

The protest is supposed to go on and on and continue till the government does the needful since there are still so many things to attend to
Those northern people are hypocrites bcuz they didn’t join the protests very much and bokoharam people are there’s too so let them continue killing themselves… We are less concerned about that one…
