18-year-old arrested for raping 2-year-old Neighbour in Adamawa
An 18-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly raping his 2-year-old neighbour in yola, the Adamawa state capital.
According to the spokes person of the state police command, DSP Sulaiman Nguroje, the suspect whose shop is next to that of the victim’s mother, took the victim to one Bekaji Primary School, Jimeta, on the pretext of being a good neighbor and raped her. The mother of the victim who noticed the swollen private part of her baby immediately reported the matter to the police who arrested the suspect.
He further added that the victim is currently receiving treatment in a hospital while the suspect is in police custody and will be charged to court once the investigation has been concluded.

Why is that our government is handling the issue of raping with levity hand? They should give stiff punishment to all these people in order to serve as deterrent to other people who have it in mind that they are going to do same thing.
