Nollywood Actress, Mercy Johnson’s husband, Prince Okojie has been declared the winner of the Esan North East/South East Federal Constituency election in Edo State. Dr Victor Imade, the Returning Officer from the University of Jos, on Sunday made the declaration at the Esan North Local Government Collation Centre in Edo. Okojie emerged winner with total votes of 21,764 to defeat the PDP, which scored 10,007, while LP scored 11,528.

Breaking: Peter Obi wins Presidential polls in Lagos State
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has defeated the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Lagos state. Though Tinubu won more local government areas, Obi defeated him with most of the votes. Obi polled 582,664, while Tinubu scored 541,850. All the results of the 20 local governments have been declared. Tinubu won in 11, while Obi won in nine local government areas.
