Governor of Ogun State, Dayo Abiodun has said his government deliberately gave out COVID-19 relief packages to some Sagamu youths, who he said they were angry as a result of hunger. The Federal Government has slammed sanctions on some major broadcast stations over their coverage of the Lekki shooting and reactions. According to a statement by the National broadcasting commission NBC, the stations were accused of playing a part in the escalation of the violence across Nigeria. Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has issued a 72 hour ultimatum to those who looted government and private property.
