EndSARS: NHRC submits 35 names of indicted former operatives to the FG
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Monday, submitted a list of 35 operatives of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) to the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), for prosecution. In the list submitted by the NHRC’s Executive secretary, Tony Ojukwu, he made it known that the list is an extract of the full report of the Special Presidential Panel on SARS which was submitted to President Muhammadu Buhari, on June 3, 2019. EndSARS Protest : Edo Government declares curfew
The Edo State Government has imposed a 24-hour curfew across the state. The curfew follows incidents of vandalism and attacks carried out by hoodlums who hijacked the End SARS protests. NECO postpones exam over #EndSARS Protest
The National Examination Council, NECO, has rescheduled one of the practical examinations which was supposed to hold in October till next month. This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, October 18, by the Head, Information and Public Relations Division for the Nigerian exam body, Mr. Azeez Sani.
