The Federal Ministry of Interior says the incident that happened at the Ikoyi Correctional Center in Lagos has been brought under control. On Thursday, October 22, a team of Army and Police officers were drafted to the prison premises after some hoodlums attempted to attack the facility to release some prisoners. Nigerian Defence Headquarters’ Director of Information, Maj. Gen. John Eneche has addressed a press conference on the Lekki Toll Gate shooting which many said was perpetrated by soldiers.
