Gunmen kidnap and kill Nasarawa APC chairman
The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa state, Philip Tatari Shekwo, who was kidnapped last night has been murdered. His body was found dumped few meters away from his private residence at Anguwar Bukan -Sidi in Lafia metropolis on Sunday morning. Law Students sue ASUU for incessant strikes, request compensation of N10B
The Law Students Association of Nigeria has dragged the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) before a Federal High Court in Abuja following the incessant strikes. Nigeria signs MoU to import fuel from Niger Republic
The Ministry of Petroleum has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with the Government of Niger Republic for the importation of fuel. In a statement released by the Ministry of petroleum, Soraz Refinery in Zinder, Niger Republic has a surplus of 15,000 barrel each day following an installed refining capacity of 20,000 barrels per day compared to the nation’s 5,000bpd domestic requirement.
