Woman slumps and dies in Plateau state hours after hearing news of her only child’s death
Family and friends of 52-year-old woman Theresa Nyorong Yohanna Bwai and her only son, Bweifar Isaac, 22, are mourning their demise. It was gathered that 22-year-old Isaac, said to be a popular recording artist, photographer and student, was shot dead by suspected cultists in Jos, on Tuesday night, November 17. Upon receiving news about her son’s death, Mrs Bwai was said to have collapsed and died the following morning, November 18. 17-year-old girl who got 7 A1s in WAEC dies
A teenager who got 7A1s in the 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has died. Chisom Chukwuneke, made straights A’s in the entrance exam and emerged the best student from her school, Graceland college in Enugu last year. She went on to win numerous academic awards in her school. Chisom was reportedly sick and was already making a recovery before she died. South Korea’s Myung-hee reportedly withdraws from WTO DG race
South Korea’s Minister of trade, Yoo Myung-hee has withdrawn her candidacy from the World Trade Organisation (WTO) Director-General’s race with Nigeria’s Okonjo Iweala according to Washington Trade Daily.
