Case adjourned as Adamu Garba and his lawyers fail to appear in court for his $1bn suit against Twitter owner, Jack Dorsey
The Federal High court Abuja has adjourned till April 2021 the case filed against the founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, by Nigerian politician, Adamu Garba. Garba on October 20, filed the lawsuit against Dorsey. According to the politician who is a member of APC, Dorsey’s endorsement of the #EndSARS protest helped fuel the crisis that erupted after it was hijacked by hoodlums. Court to begin Nnamdi Kanu’s trial in absentia
The Federal High Court in Abuja is scheduled to begin the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu on Thursday November 26 . Justice Binta Nyako on March 28, 2019 had revoked the bail granted the IPOB leader, ordered his arrest, and directed that his trial on charges of a treasonable felony would proceed in his absence. Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed hints on reopening of land borders
Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed has hinted on the reopening of Nigeria’s land border. The borders have been closed since August 2019. Zainab speaking with State House correspondents on Wednesday, November 25 said the presidential committee set up on the matter has completed its job and has recommended the reopening of the borders. The borders were closed in August 2019 in a bid to curtail illegal importation of drugs, small arms, and agricultural products into the country from neighboring West African nations.

100l UNIOSUN student, Juba Babatunde Philips has been found dead in his hostel room and it was alleged that he committed suicide after taking a poisonous substance. His body was discovered by a friend on Tuesday, November 24. Philips had shared a suicide post on his WhatsApp status. One was about the hardships he has survived, the other was him wondering why people commit suicide. His body has been taken to the morgue as friends have gone on Facebook to mourn him.

Woman slumps and dies in Plateau state hours after hearing news of her only child’s death
Family and friends of 52-year-old woman Theresa Nyorong Yohanna Bwai and her only son, Bweifar Isaac, 22, are mourning their demise. It was gathered that 22-year-old Isaac, said to be a popular recording artist, photographer and student, was shot dead by suspected cultists in Jos, on Tuesday night, November 17. Upon receiving news about her son’s death, Mrs Bwai was said to have collapsed and died the following morning, November 18.
