Stop Tagging Friday as “Black Friday”, it is a holy day for Muslims – Kano Hisbah warns Cool FM
Kano Hisbah has reportedly written a notice to the Cool FM branch in the state demanding that they stop tagging Friday as ‘Black Friday’ ahead of its “Black Friday Sales” which is expected to be hold today November 27. In a letter addressed from the Sharia Police, majority of Kano residents are Muslims and consider Friday a holy day. They further disclosed that Hisbah corps will be “around for surveillance purposes” with a view of avoiding any occurrence of immoral activities at the event as well as maintain peace, harmony and stability in the state.

FG reaches out to Niger Republic and the US in search of Maina
The Federal Government has reached out to the governments of Niger Republic and the United States in their search for the ex-Chairman of Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT) Abdulrasheed Maina who is believed to have jumped bail, in order to execute his arrest. This was contained in a counter affidavit by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) which was revealed in court today, November 26. Nigeria ranks Third on Global Terrorism Index
Nigeria has been ranked as the third most terrorized country in the world according to a 2020 report by the Global Terrorism Index (GTI). The report which was released on Wednesday, ranked Nigeria third following Afghanistan and Iraq.
