Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has suspended his Chief of Staff, Anthony Agbazuere, for spraying clergyman, Odumeje Indaboski, money in his office. His suspension is contained in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem. It reads “Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the immediate suspension from office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr ACB Agbazuere.The Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mr Alozie Odoemelam, will perform the duties of the office of Chief of Staff until further notice.Thank you.”

Newly graduated medical doctor preparing for NYSC and his friend burnt to death in ghastly accident in Katsina
Two friends were on Saturday, burnt to death in a ghastly accident along Katsina-Dutsinma road. The accident occurred at about 3pm on Saturday afternoon, December 5, when their Toyota Camry crashed and burst into flames. US cancels fee imposed on Visa Application for Nigerians
The United States has removed the reciprocity fee imposed on visa applications for Nigerians. This was disclosed in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and took effect from December 3. “The ministry of foreign affairs wishes to inform that the United States government has removed all visa reciprocity fees for Nigerian citizens seeking visas to the United States,” the ministry’s spokesman, Ferdinand Nwonye, said. “The positive development is in line with the removal of excess visa application, processing and biometric fees for United States citizens applying for Nigerian visas by the Nigerian government”.
