    The West African Examinations Council, WAEC has approved sanctions for students and schools who have reported cases of Exam Malpractice. This was according to a communiqué released by the body at its 70th meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) of the council held from Thursday to Saturday last week in Lagos. The body agreed that guilty students will be barred for a certain number of years while the schools guilty of malpractice will be de-recognised for a number of years or have their recognition completely withdrawn.
