83-year-old Nigerian Muslim man set to marry 16-year-old girl (Photo)
An 83-year-old man identified as Alhaji Yushu’a Suleiman and a 16-year-old Amina Mohammed is set to get married. The invite was shared on a Niger state online news portal. Steve Onishola, Older brother of Yoruba Actress, Folake Aremu a.k.a Orisabunmi has died barely 24 hours after his younger sister who died at the age of 60. Boko Haram kidnaps District Head in Yobe
Boko Haram insurgents in an attack on Wednesday evening at Geidam town in Yobe State abducted the district head. The insurgents reportedly stormed the town shooting sporadically causing many residents to panic and flee into the bush while others hid in their houses. The National Universities Commission (NUC) has directed vice-chancellors of universities to commence academic activities on January 18, in accordance with the directive of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) team on COVID-19.
