Gunmen suspected to be assassins have killed a 40-year-old man identified as Odion Ehiorobo Larry, in Benin City, Edo state It was gathered that Ehiorobo was shot dead in front of his pregnant wife and children in his house located at Peanut Road along Sapele Road in Benin city about 2am on Thursday, February 18. Niger abductees will be released soon – Sheikh Gumi
Renowned Islamic scholar, Sheik Ahmed Gumi has assured that the abducted Students and staff of Government Secondary School, Kagara will soon be released. He said after he met with bandits in forests between Tegina and Birnin gwari in Kaduna state. According to reports, Sheikh Gumi met with the bandits leader, Dogo Gide, among other top Commanders at Dutsen Magaji Forest.
