Foreigners without COVID-19 certificate will lose visas – Nigeria Immigration Service
The Nigeria Immigration Service has warned that foreigners who fail to present their COVID-19 test certificates on arrival in the country will lose their visas. COVID-19: FG approves Establishment of Life-Support Oxygen Plants nationwide – PTF
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the establishment of at least one oxygen plant in each of the 36 states of the country. NERC denies approval of 50% increase in electricity tariffs
The Nigeria Electricity Regulation Commission (NERC) has denied claims that there has been an increase by 50% in electricity tariff. This was in a statement released on Tuesday via the official Twitter handle of the commission. It said that no approval has been granted for a 50% tariff increase for electricity distribution companies, which took effect on January 1, 2021. FG increases Electricity Tariff by 50%
The Federal Government has again increased the electricity tariff by 50%. The development was revealed by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) in its December 2020 minor review of the Multi-Year Tariff Order and Minimum Remittance Order obtained made available to newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
