Gunmen kidnap and kill Taraba Local Government Chairman
Salihu Dovo, Chairman of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State has been killed by gunmen who kidnapped him early Sunday morning. It was learnt that the gunmen stormed Mr Dovo’s residence in Sabon Gari, Jalingo at about 1 a.m and thereafter abducted and killed him. IGP orders arrest of Sunday Igboho over eviction notice to Herdsmen
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu has ordered the arrest of Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, over the quit notice he issued to herdsmen. BBC Hausa quoted Garba Shehu, presidential spokesman, as confirming the arrest order during its programme on Friday. IMN demands immediate release of El-Zakzaky, Wife from detention over Covid-19 contraction
The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has demanded for the immediate release of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenah Ibrahim who has reportedly contracted Covid-19.
