Buhari gets new Aide-De-Camp
President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Lieutenant-Colonel Yusuf Muktar Dodo as his new Aide-de-Camp (ADC). Dodo before his new appointment was the Academy Adjutant of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA). He succeeds Colonel Mohammed Lawal Abubakar, who has occupied the position since 2015. The immediate past ADC, Abubakar, reportedly vacated the position to resume a promotion course, after which he would be promoted to the Brigadier-General rank. FG’s failure to license Amotekun to bear arms illegal – Falana
Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has expressed that it is illegal for the Federal Government not to license the South-West Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun, to bear arms.
