The Nigerian Army has disbanded its legal team and also pulled out of investigative hearing of the Lagos State Judicial Panel investigating the shooting of #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Tollgate on October 20, 2020. Making the announcement on Saturday January 30 after more evidences backed claims of Nigerian soldiers shooting peaceful protesters at the tollgate, a member of the army counsel, S.N. Agwhe notified the Panel of Akinlolu Kehinde, head of the army legal team submitting a memo about the disbandment. Ex-Commissioner of Police, Yomi Onashile, dies of COVID19 after a week at the Isolation Center in Ibadan
A retired Commissioner of Police, Yomi Onashile, has died of COVID19 complications. He died yesterday January 30 at the Isolation centre at Olodo, in Ibadan, Oyo State where he was being treated. Onashile was said to have been on admission at the COVID-19 Isolation Centre since January 24. Before his retirement from the Nigeria Police Force, the deceased served as Commissioner of Police in Abia, Oyo, Ekiti and Lagos states. When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the retired police commissioner’s death. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Lieutenant-Colonel Yusuf Muktar Dodo as his new Aide-de-Camp (ADC).
