Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has lost her mother, Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo. She died at the age of 90 years old. President Muhammadu Buhari, in a statement by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, condoled with the NIDCOM boss. He also sent words of comfort to other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the departed. Buhari recalled that Mrs Erogbogbo was a well-rounded Nigerian, born in Kano, schooled in Lagos, and later taught in Kano, Lagos and Jos. The Presidency has expressed that the Nigerian Government is winning the war against insurgency but it is being under-reported.
