Ramadan: Hisbah police arrest eleven persons for eating during the day
Following the start of the Ramadan Fasting, Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested eleven persons for failing to participate in the fast. Confirming their arrest to newsmen, the Director-General of the Hisbah board, Dr. Aliyu Musa Kibiya, said the arrested persons, three males, and eight females were sighted eating in the daytime during the Ramadan, which proves that they were not observing the fast. “We will investigate and if they have cogent reasons we will release them. The National Coordinator of Gwoza Christian Community Association (GCCA), Ayuba Bassa has narrated his encounter during the early abduction of the Chibok Girls. Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni on Wednesday married daughter of General Sani Abacha, Gumsu Sani Abacha in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
