$1.5bn Refinery revamp Bill can build 12 Hospitals – Peterside
Founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Atedo Peterside, has queried the Federal Government’s decision to renovate the Port Harcourt refinery for $1.5bn. Peterside in a tweet noted that the money could be used to build 12 world-class hospitals at $125m dollars each. The Federal Government on Thursday has warned that any Nigerian without their National Identity Number, NIN risk 14 years imprisonment. This was according to a statement by the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami during a press briefing at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The Federal Government has directed GoTv and Startimes to migrate their signals to the two licensed FreeTv signal distributors in Nigeria. 2023: INEC fixes date to Resume Registration of Voters
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed June 28 to resume the continuous voter registration (CVR) exercise ahead of the 2023 elections.
