Parents of the 39 kidnapped students of Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State have issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Federal Government and security agencies to facilitate the return of the abductees. Managing Director of Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman has announced that export cargoes have been barred from Lagos ports for two weeks. Wife of Nigerian Air Force personnel killed in February marries his older brother
The wife of a Nigerian Air Force personnel who was killed during a gun duel with bandits in February has married his older brother. Late Abubakar was among the NAF personnel killed during a gun duel with armed bandits at Ungwan Laya near Birnin Gwari on Saturday, February 13 and was buried the next day. Port Hacourt Refinery will work within 18 months – FG
The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to completing the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery, saying it would be functional within 18 months. “Port Harcourt Refinery will work, and certainly within the next 18 months,” the Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva said in an interview aired on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
