Haruna Maitala, a member of the House of Representatives representing Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency of Plateau State, and three others died in an accident. The incident happened on Friday, April 2, as the lawmaker travelled from Abuja to Jos, for his son’s wedding, slated to hold today, April 3. The Nigerian Air Force has dismissed claims by Boko Haram that it shot down the missing Alpha jet – NAF 475 after it went off the radar on Wednesday during an Operation in Sambisa forest. Boko Haram releases video showing downing of NAF fighter jet
A Boko Haram faction has released footage showing the downing of a Nigerian fighter aircraft.
