Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide has expressed that controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi should be in jail for allegedly stirring up ethnic tension. Reacting to the recent killing of soldiers in Katsina, Omokri accused President Muhammadu Buhari of nepotism, saying that was the only reason the Islamic cleric is not in jail. He wrote: “Sheikh Gumi, “Bandits just killed an unspecified number of @HQNigerianArmy soldiers in Katsina. Nigerian Lady injured in gas explosion dies (Photos)
A young lady, Onyinye Odo who was involved in a gas explosion accident has died. Details surrounding her death are still sketchy but it was gathered that Onyinye succumbed to severe burns she sustained following a gas explosion. We should consider setting up regional security outfit – Zulum tells North-East Govs
Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has called on other governors of the North East region to consider setting up a regional security outfit to tackle the problem of insecurity in the region. Zulum made the suggestion at the North-east Governors Forum meeting which held in Bauchi on Wednesday.
