A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Mike Ozekhome, has expressed that it is unconstitutional for President Muhammadu Buhari to solely appoint Usman Alkali Baba as the acting inspector-general of police. Buhari approves Appointment of Usman Alkali as Acting IGP
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of DIG Usman Alkali Baba as acting Inspector General of police. He immediately replaces Mohammed Abubakar Adamu. Atiku not qualified to run for president, not Nigerian by birth – AGF Malami
The Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, has told a Federal High court in Abuja that former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, is not eligible to run for presidential elections in Nigeria. AK47 and army uniform recovered from leader of bandit group killed in Zamfara
The leader of a bandit group in Zamfara state has been killed by officers attached to operation Puff Adder II. In a statement by the spokesman of the state police command, Mohammed Shehu, the police operatives were on a routine patrol on Sunday, April 4 when they intercepted some bandits who were reportedly on their way to attack a community. Kogi residents flog two men for staging #BuhariMustGo protest in the state
Some residents of Kogi state took it upon themselves to flog two men for staging a #BuhariMustGo protest in the state. The men stormed the area with placards with inscriptions that read ”Buhari Must Go” and also painting the same on the walls of the environment. They were however intercepted by some youths in the area who made it clear that Kogi state is for Buhari and that their protest was not welcomed. Police arrest four suspected kidnappers in Delta, rescue victim
The Delta State Police Command has arrested four suspected kidnappers involved in the abduction of one Mr William Aduwoma.
