Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva has assured Nigerians of the full deregulation of petrol price soon to take place. He said this speaking at University of Ibadan during the opening of the 56th Annual International Conference and Exhibition of the Nigeria Mining and Geoscience Society (NMGS). It is not Government’s job to ask bandits to repent – El-Rufai
Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has reiterated his stand that his administration won’t negotiate with bandits. He said this following a call by Sheikh Gumi for a peace deal with bandits in the wake of bandits’ attacks on several northern states. BREAKING: CBN introduces new USSD charges for customers
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has introduced new charges for customers using the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) services. According to a statement jointly signed by CBN’s Acting Director, Corporate Communications, Osita Nwanisobi and Director, Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Ikechukwu Adinde, the new charges will take effect from Tuesday, customers will pay N6.98 per transaction every time they use USSD services. Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents have attacked Katarko community in Gujba Local Government Council of Yobe State, razing a primary school and a healthcare centre located in the community. CAN drags FG to Court over CAMA law
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has filed a lawsuit before the Federal High Court Abuja challenging the legality of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 (CAMA).
