Ban on Open grazing: Miyetti Allah ask herdsmen to leave Southern Nigeria, want Buhari to Resign as he is no longer in charge
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), has asked all Fulani herdsmen to leave the Southern states following the recent ban placed on open grazing by the state governors.? In a letter signed by the Chairman of the Bauchi State chapter of MACBAN, Sadiq Ibrahim Ahmed, the body urged herders operating in the south to urgently leave the region as “the governors of the 17 states that make up the region are bent on frustrating their business as well as turn the people against herders.” The letter in part reads “This is a simple calculation. The summit will review the African economy, following shocks from the COVID-19 pandemic and getting relief, due to the increasing debt burden on countries. During the four-day trip, Buhari will also meet with Emmanuel Macron, President of France. Sokoto police rescue 12-year-old girl caged and starved for 8 months (photos)
The police in Sokoto state have rescued a 12-year-old girl, Joy Emmanuel, caged for eight months by her guardians identified as Bassey and Esther Emmanuel at their home in the Sokoto Cinema area in Sokoto North Local Government Area.
