FG suspends Channels TV for interviewing IPOB, Nigerians react
The Federal Government has suspended a leading media outfit in Nigeria, Channels Television and also handed them a fine of N5 million for breach of the broadcast code. In a letter by National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Acting Director-General, Armstrong Idachaba, complained about the Channels 7pm live broadcast programme of Sunday, April 25, 2021. Bandits kill two more Greenfield University students
The Kaduna State Government, Monday, evening announced that two abducted students of the Greenfield university have been killed by bandits. This was according to a statement, which was signed by the Commissioner for Internal security and Home Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan. Kaduna Govt visits families of slain Students, insists on Non-Negotiation
The Kaduna State government has sent a delegation to sympathise with the families of the three students of Greenfield University who were killed by bandits two days after their abduction. Benue University Students abducted on Campus
Gunmen have abducted some students of the Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi (FUAM) in Benue State. This was confirmed in a statement by the school authorities, noting that an unspecified number of students were taken away at gunpoint on Sunday night.
