Nigerian soldier commits suicide in Borno
A soldier identified as Kila Jima fighting Boko Haram insurgents in Borno state has reportedly committed suicide. According to reports from Sahara Reporters the soldier, a corporal in the Army’s 152 Battalion, Banki, was said to have suddenly cocked his rifle and shot himself in the head last Saturday, April 10. It was said the deceased had shown some sign of depression before he eventually committed suicide. His body has been deposited at the military mortuary in Maiduguri. Ondo government drags former Deputy Governor, Ajayi to police over unreturned vehicles

El-Rufai meets Pastor Adeboye after release of RCCG Members
The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has met with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Tuesday following the release of eight abducted members if the RCCG The meeting took place at the governor’s office in Kaduna. The General Overseer of RCCG had announced the release of the victims last Thursday through his Twitter handle. The members belonged to Region 30, Trinity Sanctuary, Kaduna. Bauchi state government to conduct census on sex workers in the state
The Bauchi state government has concluded plans to conduct a headcount of commercial sex workers in the state with a view to having accurate data on them.
