NSCDC establishes female squad to tackle insecurity
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has established a Female Squad for the primary responsibility of securing schools susceptible to bandits’ attack. The NSCDC Commandant-General, Ahmed Audi, disclosed this at the passing out parade of personnel of the squad at the corps training College in Katsina today May 21. Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Bolaji Owasanoye has said foreign countries should refund stolen funds with interest. He said this at the International Conference on IFFs and Asset Recovery held at the ICPC Headquarters in Abuja. Boko Haram leader, Shekau reportedly dead after ISWAP attack
Abubakar Shekau, Leader of the Boko Haram faction, Jama’tu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS), is reportedly dead.
