President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a meeting with General Mahamat Idriss Deby, son on the late President Idriss Deby and and head of Chad’s Transitional Military Council. The Chadian, leader who succeeded his father last month, arrived at the Presidential Villa in Abuja around 11am. He was received by Buhari before they went into a closed door meeting. Abia University student arrested for faking his kidnap
A 200-level political science student of Abia State University identified as George Nnamdi has been arrested for faking his kidnap. Nnamdi who reportedly sent a text message to one of his friends around 3am on Thursday May 13, that he was kidnapped by six men carrying AK-47 rifles alongside three other students, claimed that he was only pranking his friend.
