Scores allegedly kidnapped as bandits block Kaduna-Abuja road

Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani has disclosed in a tweet that bandits have blocked the Kaduna-Abuja road.Shehu made the tweet about an hour ago on social media. He wrote; ”I have just got a call that Bandits have blocked the Kaduna Abuja road,in between Jere and Katari village in this broad daylight.Scores of people were kidnapped while many have made a fast u-turn in the face of gunshots.” A man who also claimed they almost drove into the bandits said a joint military operation have helped clear the road.

Southern and Northern Kaduna groups agree to split State

The Minister of Finance and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed has revealed that the government has been borrowing from recovered loots to fund the budget and has not been able to pay back.
