Two escape as gunmen abduct Abia varsity students
Gunmen have abducted unspecified students of Abia State University (ABSU) Uturu but two of them escaped from the abductors. According to TheNation the victims were seized from a mini bus heading to Uturu from Okigwe in Imo State between the hours of 7-8pm on Wednesday Commissioner of Information, John Okiyi-Kalu, confirmed the incident. Catholic Church suspends Father Mbaka
The Catholic Diocese of Enugu has suspended Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka from church activities for one month as the controversial priest’s political escapades continue to overshadow his theological obligations.
