The Board, Management and entire staff of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) have commiserated with the Chairman, Board of Commissioners of NCC, Prof. Adeolu Akande over the death of his 19-year-old daughter, Feranmi Fasunle. LIB reported that the 200-level student in the Department of Political Science at the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, committed suicide by drinking poisonous substances believed to be sniper. Sokoto police rescue 12-year-old girl caged and starved for 8 months (photos)
The police in Sokoto state have rescued a 12-year-old girl, Joy Emmanuel, caged for eight months by her guardians identified as Bassey and Esther Emmanuel at their home in the Sokoto Cinema area in Sokoto North Local Government Area. According to reports, Joy was locked up and deprived of food because of her unstable mental condition.
