NLC suspends its 5-days warning strike in Kaduna after F.G intervention and proposed reconciliatory meeting
The Nigerian Labour Congress NLC is suspending its 5-days warning strike in Kaduna state. The labour union had embarked on the strike on Monday, May 17 to protest against the mass sack of civil servants in the state. The NLC president, Ayuba Wabba, who announced the suspension of the strike, said the decision is to honor the invitation of the Federal government for a reconciliatory meeting with both Labour leaders and the Kaduna state government.

Nigeria Immigration suspends new applications for international passports nationwide
The Nigeria Immigration Service has suspended new applications for international passports till the 1st of June 2021. The Comptroller General of Immigration, Muhammed Babandede made the announcement on Tuesday, May 18, during a press briefing in Abuja.
