The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday reacted to the leaking roof within the lobby of its White House, saying it had earlier met President Muhammadu Buhari who directed them to look for the money needed for the rehabilitation of the complex. Any Social Media platform used to bring down Nigeria will be Suspended – Lai Mohammed
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has warned that any social media platform which allows activities that have a negative impact on the country will be suspended. Buratai appointed Nigeria’s ambassador to Benin Republic
Former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.Gen. Tukur Buratai (rtd), has been appointed Nigeria’s ambassador to Benin Republic. ECOWAS Court stops Buhari govt from prosecuting Nigerians using Twitter
The ECOWAS Court of Justice in Abuja on Tuesday delivered a ruling restraining the President Muhammadu Buhari administration from arresting or prosecuting Nigerians using Twitter. The court also protected social media service providers, radio and television broadcast stations and others from prosecution pending the hearing and determination of this suit. Kemisola Ogunniyi, the #EndSARS protester who recently gave birth to a baby in prison has regained freedom temporarily.
