Kano Hisbah bans the use of Mannequins by boutiques
The Kano Hisbah Board has banned the use of mannequins by tailors, supermarket stores and boutique owners to display clothes in the state. The order was contained in a statement by the Commander General of the board, Sheikh Haroun Ibn Sina, and issued to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday. Nnamdi Kanu: British lawyers vow to drag Kenya to ICC, give Buhari govt 48 hours ultimatum
A Coalition of British lawyers of Igbo extraction has vowed to drag the Kenyan Government to the International Criminal Court, ICC, for detaining Nnamdi Kanu, a British citizen, and subsequently handing him over to the Nigerian Government. Nnamdi Kanu’s brother says the IPOB leader was arrested in Kenya
Kingsley Kanu, a sibling of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has revealed that his brother was arrested in Kenya. Bandits attack Ganduje’s convoy
There was a gun duel between security operatives attached to the convoy of Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and some heavily armed bandits along Shema in Katsina State on their way back to Kano from Zamfara State. UNIBEN final year student shot dead after writing last exam
A final year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) identified as Augustine Izu has been shot dead by yet-to-be identified gunmen. The incident happened after gunmen invaded his compound in Ugbowo, Edo State on Tuesday evening, June 29, 2021, hours after his final paper and signing out. While the Political Science student died on the spot after being shot by the mask-wearing gunmen, his friend Walter Emeka survived after being shot in the arm. Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister has issued a warning to the Nigerian government over the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
