Kano State Islamic police, Hisbah, have given approval for traders in the state to use mannequins following a previous ban. According to Hisbah officials, traders are allowed to only use headless mannequins to advertise clothing. Speaking to newsmen, the commander of Hisbah in the state, Haruna Ibn-Sina, said “Islam frowns on idolatry. Borno State Governor, Professor Babagan Zulum has expressed that the state is in a difficult situation over the reintegration of repentant insurgents. Zamfara college discloses escape of two abducted employees, student escaped
The Deputy Provost of the management of the College of Agriculture and Animal Science, Bakura, Zamfara State, Ali Atiku, while speaking to newsmen on Monday has revealed that two members of staff and one student have escaped from the kidnappers’ den. Four feared dead as bandits abduct students in Zamfara college
Four persons were allegedly killed as suspected armed bandits abducted many students and teachers in Zamfara State. It was gathered that the bandits had attacked Zamfara College of Agriculture in Bakura Local Government Area of the state on Sunday when the incident happened. The college deputy registrar, Atiku Aliyu Bakura, confirmed the incident to BBC Hausa Monday morning.
