Boko Haram has attacked me more than 40 Times – Zulum
Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum has revealed that he has been attacked by Boko Haram insurgents “more than 40 to 50 times”. The Governor said this while briefing state house correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa on Tuesday. He said over 100,000 people have been killed in the 12-year-old insurgency in the north-east. The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Lucky Irabor, is currently on a visit to the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) following an attack on the military training institution by gunmen early Tuesday morning. BREAKING: Nigerian Defence Academy confirms bandits’ attack, officers’ murder
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has confirmed an attack by bandits on Tuesday. A large number of bandits attacked the NDA campus in Afaka, Kaduna State, around 1:30am. Industrial Court orders Resident Doctors to suspend Strike
The National Industrial Court has ordered the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) to suspend its ongoing strike. Resident doctors in the country have been on strike since the 2nd of August 2021. Justice John Targema gave the order on Monday in an ex parte application by the Federal Government. He ruled: “It is hereby ordered that claimant/applicant and the defendant/respondent suspend all forms of hostilities forthwith pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.” Justice Targema adjourned the substantive suit to September 15 and ruled that a hearing notice should be issued and served on the defendant.
