Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano, yesterday led a protest against the continued sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) The governor took to the streets of Awka urging residents to return to their businesses. FG approves deployment of 5G network in Nigeria
The Federal Government has approved the deployment of the Fifth Generation Network, also known as 5G in Nigeria. Isa Pantami, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy disclosed the approval after the Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting in Abuja last week Wednesday. Kogi: Yahaya Bello govt confirms Kabba prison break
The Kogi State Government has confirmed an attack on a Correctional Centre in the state. Gunmen had attacked the Kabba Custodial Centre in the wee hours of Monday which saw the death of two soldiers and the escape of inmates. Kingsley Fanwo, the Commissioner for Information in the state, said security agents have rearrested some inmates from the Correctional centre in Kabba and some inmates have returned voluntarily.
