House of Representatives member, Tajudeen Adefisoye has reacted to the continuous depreciation of the Nigerian Naira. Adefisoye in a tweet he shared disclosed that Rep members have since invited the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele several times to explain his policies, but he failed to respond. The Naira is now N550/$1 compared to N545/$1 recorded in the previous trading session in parallel markets.

The Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Uche Ogah, has revealed that private jet owners in Nigeria smuggle gold outside the country. Anglican priest butchered to death in Imo, his car burnt
The priest-in-charge of St Andrew’s Anglican church, Ihitte-Ukwa in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State Rev. Emeka Merenu, has been killed by unknown gunmen. Grant amnesty to detained IPOB members, Igboho supporters – Orji Kalu tells FG

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has said its members can embark on strike at anytime, as the Federal Government is breaking on its promise to implement the Memorandum of Action, MOA, which was agreed and signed on last December. UAE names Nigerians among sponsors of terrorism
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has listed six Nigerians as financiers of Boko Haram and terror activities. State-run WAM news agency reports that the information was released at the country’s federal cabinet meeting in Abu Dhabi on Monday. The Nigerians are Abdurrahaman Ado Musa, Salihu Yusuf Adamu, Bashir Ali Yusuf, Muhammed Ibrahim Isa, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan and Surajo Abubakar Muhammad.
