Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa has said that bandits are infact terrorists as they carry out attacks that are not different from those of known terrorist groups. IPOB declares one month sit-at-home if Namdi Kanu isn’t produced in court; urges ‘Oduduwa republic’ and ‘Middle Belt’ to join
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has declared a one-month sit-at-home if its leader Nnamdi Kanu isn’t produced in court. The group has also urged Oduduwa Republic agitators, their Middle belt counterpart and Christians in the North to join its members in shutting down Nigeria for one month if the Federal Government fails to bring Kanu to court on October 21. BREAKING: Resident doctors call off strike

UNIZIK student dies after being hit by stray bullet fired by unknown gunmen in Nnewi
A 300l student of College of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University identified as Chioma Mbionu has been killed by a stray bullet fired by unknown gunmen. Details of the incident are however still sketchy at the time of this report the Medical Rehabilitaion student was killed during the attack on security facilities in Nnewi on Sunday, October 3. According to reports, she was rushed to the University Teaching Hospital Nnewi but was allegedly not attended to as doctors are on strike. She subsequently bled to death at the gate.
