Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has described President Muhammadu Buhari as more incompetent compared to the two ministers he sacked. NCDC boss, Chikwe Ihekweazu, Appointed Assistant DG of WHO
The Director-General of the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Chikwe Ihekweazu has been appointed an Assistant Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) in charge of Health Emergency Intelligence. His appointment was announced in a statement issued by the WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros, he said Ihekweazu will lead the work on strengthening pandemic and epidemic intelligence globally, including heading the WHO Hub for Pandemic and Epidemic Intelligence in Berlin. Nnamdi Kanu: IPOB has stockpiled weapons in Nigeria, killing police, military – Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari has accused the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, of stockpiling weapons across Nigeria. This was according to a statement by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu. The Police Command in Abia state has arrested one Mrs. Zazi David for pouring her 10-year-old maid identified as Ifunanya, hot water mixed with pepper because she broke a plate. Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege has expressed that a perfect law in itself cannot guarantee credible elections as long as other parts of the election process remain flawed. Akeredolu signs Anti-open Grazing Bill into Law
Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has signed into law the Anti-open grazing bill in accordance with the resolution of the Southern Governors Forum at its last meeting, held in Lagos.
